Welcome to The Canyons Resort Winter Press Kit. The Canyons is Utah’s largest single ski and snowboard resort blessed yearly with the legendary Utah powder that makes the state a mecca for winter sports. This site is designed to help members of the media learn about The Canyons and aid in the research and production of articles or filming opportunities at the resort.
With over 3,700 acres, 163 runs, 17 lifts, two cutting edge terrain parks and six natural half pipes, there is never a chance that guests will get bored on the mountain. Exploring The Canyons is a favorite past time for locals and a memorable experience for our destination guests. The best way to really get to know the resort is to experience it first hand and immerse yourself in the mountain lifestyle.
New development at the base area is in full swing with over a dozen new properties coming aboard within the next 3-5 years. These range from partial ownership properties to condominium, townhome and single-family projects. During the next year we will begin construction on an 18-hole golf course, adding to our already plentiful summer offerings.
