Preparing for future expansion onto Iron Mountain, the new Iron Mountain-Tombstone Link Lift, will go from the base of Tombstone to approximately half mile below DreamCatcher lift. This lift, named Timberline, will be used to access Tombstone from the DreamCatcher area at the end of the day.
Frostwood Pulse Gondola
This will be a pulse gondola accessing the Frostwood area properties including Miner’s Club and Dakota Mountain Lodge. There will be four cars that can hold six passengers each. Drop off will be at the base of The Flight of The Canyons Gondola.
Glading
Glading will be done off Peak 5 and Tombstone areas for expanded tree skiing. One of the many favorite local areas is Mystic Pines off of Peak 5 and it will be gladed for more open tree skiing.
Grooming
The Canyons will be increasing our grooming fleet by 25% for the 2008-2009 winter season.
Snowmaking
Snowmaking will be potentially increased by 30%. There will be an increased number of snowmaking guns and machines. All of these improvements will be eco-friendly.
