GUIDE SERVICE AT THE CANYONS

If you are looking to find the hidden powder and great views, let one of our resort experts show you around our 3,700 acres of terrain and give you a day that you and your group will remember forever.  With five bowls, six natural half-pipes, and over 200 new acres to explore, we will keep you busy all day.  Not only will you get the inside scoop, but you will get to forget waiting in lift lines, as you will receive special lift cutting privileges.  Less time waiting in line means more time hitting the steeps, deeps, chutes and cruisers.  Tour the mountain with friends, or make it an office outing - up to 10 people are allowed per group, and skiers and riders can go out together.  Any day is a great day at The Canyons; come and see why the locals love us.

FIRST TRACKS
Age Description:  13 & up -- all participants must be high intermediate to expert level skiers or riders
Cost: $59

Be among the first to make tracks on the slopes of The Canyons on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a resort "insider" and an Olympic Skier!!!  You will have the pleasure of being the first on the lifts and the first to make tracks.  When you are done exploring, breakfast at Red Pine Lodge will be waiting (and is included with your First Tracks ticket).  The cost for First Tracks for the 2009-2010 winter season is $59; this price does not include your lift ticket.

TELEMARK SKI AT THE CANYONS

If you want to learn how to telemark ski in a low-key environment, where the tips are tailored to meet your needs, then you need to visit The Canyons.  You will have your own private instructor to show you what needs to be done in order to move to the next level.  Equipment is not included and it is required that you rent or obtain your equipment prior to arriving at our resort.

TERRAIN PARK PRIVATE CLINICS: JIB, GRIND AND BOOST THE TERRAIN PARK

Learn the latest terrain park tricks, jumps and techniques.  If you are an advanced skier or rider, one of our expert instructors can either introduce you to the terrain park or perfect your already developing skills.  Helmets are required (helmet rentals are available at Canyon Mountain Rentals).

Canyons Big Mountain Team
Price: $350 / five week session. $700 / 10 week session.
Age Description:  7 -14

Explore the mountain with skiers/riders of the same age and ability level!  This clinic will allow your kids to improve on their skills and techniques while making new friendships that will last a lifetime.
