Ski and Snowboard School
The Canyons world class instructors have the training to cater to any level and age of student when it comes to skiing or snowboarding. Last year, the discovery channel came and filmed an episode of Jon & Kate plus 8, a show about a family with twins and sextuplets. The Canyons ski school handled every one of these kids so dad, Jon could escape for a little powder skiing himself. If we can handle sextuplets, we can handle your kids. Adult lessons are available too, so any way you want to do it, there is an option for you and your family in The Canyons Ski and Snowboard School.
Concerts at The Canyons
The Canyons brings in concerts of every genre, so there is sure to be something your family can groove to whether it is bluegrass, funk, or rock, it is practically guaranteed everyone in the family will be on their feet dancing. Not to mention, all concerts at The Canyons are free! Can’t beat a price like that.
First Tracks at The Canyons
Be the first on the hill on Wednesday and Saturday mornings when you sign up for First Tracks. You’ll be guided by a former Winter Olympian and have access to selected portions of the mountain a full hour before anyone else, so whether it is a powder day or a crisp day for cruisers, you’ll be the first one making your mark down the run. When you’re done exploring, breakfast will be waiting for you at Red Pine Lodge. Advance reservations are required. This is a perfect activity for families with teenage children.

Child Care options at The Canyons
Little Adventures Children’s Center welcomes kids 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Little Adventures is a state licensed daycare facility providing fun, age-appropriate activities. Lunch and two snacks are included in the full-day program. Located at the base of The Flight of The Canyons Gondola in The Grand Summit Hotel allows Little Adventures to include a Gondola ride up the mountain to a sledding hill. So, if your children are not interested in skiing yet, you can still hit the slopes while they have a blast sledding and drinking hot chocolate.
